Providers/extensions are third-party integrations that resolve where media metadata and streams come from. They are operated by third parties, may change, stop working or become unavailable, and are not created or guaranteed by the ManjiTV team.
How does Watch Together work?
Watch Together uses Firebase Realtime Database and Firebase Authentication. You can create rooms, join rooms with a code, set display names, synchronize playback, chat, send reactions, manage members and use voice chat where enabled. Room data is handled through the Realtime Database.
Does Watch Together require an account?
No traditional account is required. The app uses Firebase anonymous authentication to create a temporary session for rooms.
What data does the app use?
The app integrates Firebase Analytics (screen views, APK download interactions, episode playback via streaming, room creation/joining, media playback in rooms), Crashlytics (crash reports), Remote Config (remote configuration), Authentication (anonymous) and Realtime Database (room data). ManjiTV does not provide video downloading or offline content storage. Refer to Privacy Policy for Google documentation links. Permissions and ad functionality are also described there.
Why does Watch Together request microphone permission?
Only for voice chat where enabled. Microphone is not accessed unless you choose to use voice chat.
Why does the app use Firebase?
Firebase provides analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration, authentication and realtime synchronization needed for Watch Together.
How can I report copyright concerns?
